I was born in Louisville, Kentucky. I dropped out of school after the 6th grade and did a variety of jobs before beginning my career at WAVE radio at the age of 21. I was a newscaster and disc jockey in Louisville, and Buffalo before switching to television newscasting.
I moved to L.A. in the 60s and began acting in television. I began my drunk act at parties, then in Las Vegas nightclubs and on television. I was a frequent guest on talk and variety shows and several Dean Martin celebrity roasts.
Now I'm going to sleep.
