The Beach Project

About Me

There was a boy who asked a girl to sing. He was Josh Wald from Wald Productions (www.waldproductions.com). She sang with his crew called Mama's Boy Goes Digital. The project ended. The boy and the girl wrote an album together. The Beach Project was born. Josh and Kerry were the parents. Kerry then raised The Beach Project alone and adopted more family members: Julian Cassia on bass, Clemens Zecha on drums, Josh Ricchio on guitar and Cody Geil on strings. The Beach Project's first album "Queen of Hearts", was just released on iTunes!!! Buy here: ."The Beach Project is an assimilation of the different faces of pop throughout time. From their gentle, electronic approach to their more aggressive, rocking live shows, the Beach Project is truly a band to look out for as they gush within the NYC music scene, urging listeners into a dance hall of existence." the Gilgamesh Tribune ...“The Beach Project is an amalgamation of plural elements, both literally and musically. The music is rooted in pop primarily, but never divorced itself of its inherent ties to Indie Rock, the 80s, and modern Electronica. In its adoption of the band musicians, TBP injected within its veins a Vermouth of backgrounds, flavoring its already potent and diverse stream of audio waves, with heavy plucking bassist Julian Cassia, Clemens Zecha, drummer extraordinaire, and, sonic texturalist/ guitarist Josh Ricchio. With all these aromatic herbs adding to Kerry's already flourished background, the band is truly a palette of a modern musicology. Boom!!! Goes the room ...” "Peaceful, soothing their music reinforced an almost lost belief I had of finding goodness in life. They were sharp on point electro pop, candy shop hotness. They had a real ’80s vibe and there were touches of Kate Bush and Bjork in both her vocalisation and her theatrics....Definitely a band to check out." wherewouldneilgonyc.wordpress.comBuy the album now!"...full of emotion, a modern, light 80s pop, and her voice, there's not much more to say..."More reviews on iTunes!!
