At the age of 21, West Michigan native Steve Swift has positioned himself as one of the most in demand DJs in the midwestern united states.
Having played alongside some of the top DJs in the world, Mixin Marc, Alex Peace, Kenneth Thomas, Misstress Barbara and DJ Bam Bam, his sound cannot be put into one specific genre. His sets are described as "Forward thinking", as well as innovative. Weaving in and out of everything from bouncy tech house, smooth progressive, to peak hour electro house.
Steve is also tapping into the production side of electronic music, along with his production partners Brandon Hill and Andrew DeGarmo. One of Steve's recent projects "Double Penetration", had Judge Jules (BBC Radio One, London) saying "This is definatly in the top 10 percent of its sound".
Recently, Steve performed at one of the top nightclubs in the world "Crobar Chicago" along side Mixin Marc (Juicy Music, Movement Music), and Strangelove (SexyF*ck Clothing)
Currently he is the resident DJ at Crush Nightclub in Grand Rapids, the premier nightclub on the west side of the state, is a mixshow DJ for 104.5 WSNX, and Mixes and Produces a bi-weekly podcast called "Swiftcast", which already has attracted a huge audience of listeners.
