In keeping with the spirit of independence/freedom, Love Not Dead is me and friends, who I am working with: in my studio, on other projects, collaborating with... not unlike the way Guided By Voices, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix... functioned (No, I don't think I'm a rock star). It's not quite a "Solo Ego Project", but it will not have the Emotional Drama of being a "Band", where we're fucked, if someone can't make it. I like the way Johnathan Richman thought about performing. I would like to be able to play, in the rain, with no electricity, by myself, when my guitar is half broken. Cheers, Geoff.
