a little bit about me, an ongoing monologue... by: me

i love the water - ocean, gulf, bay, lake, river, stream, waterfall (my favorite), even a good rainstorm. there's something about it that seems to be able to wash away all of my worries. i don't think i could ever live in a place that wasn't within driving distance of some kind of body of water or another. i can sit for hours on the beach bundled up in a blanket listening to the waves or by a stream or waterfall pool in the woods where i've stopped during a hike for a lunch break or by the window during a thunderstorm just watching the rain come down in sheets. i always feel cleansed afterwards, mentally & spiritually, which makes everything else feel better.
