....I am a National-Level Figure competitor with the NPC. My goal this year is to turn pro, hopefully on May 23, 2009 in South Carolina. I love my family and my friends to death. I have no room in my life for liars, manipulaters, HATERS, spiteful and vindictive people, nay-sayers, and people who self-induce DRAMA. I am learning that people will say what they want,believe what they hear, and are quick to judgement. I thank God for every obstacle, every pain, and and every setback in my life, for without these moments, I would be Nothing.
I am very blessed. I train with 3 time Arnold Classic Winner/ 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson and his girlfriend, National Level Figure competitor Gale Elie. Both are amazing competitors with spirit and charisma and they have become my role models. I'm also very lucky to work with Pro MMA fighter John Mahlow, an ambitious entrepenuer with a lot of heart. He has become a wellspring of support and encouragement! My life revolves around training, eating, and sleeping, which I don't mind because those are probably my three favorite things in the world.
I'm trying to achieve a higher level of consciousness and truly believe that everything and everyone is connected, even at the most miniscule level. I am learning to be more aware of my surroundings and the people I affect. The thought of doing the same thing everyday could drive me to insanity. I would rather have a life of experience and opportunities than a life of riches and emptiness. I tend to follow my own path, and sometimes it comes off as being stubborn. I am learning to live life on my own watch. I will not settle ever in anything which makes it very difficult for me to maintain relationships. I like to surround myself with people who can keep the pace with me and who are willing to change course at any moment!
So, this year is going to be great! I'm going to turn pro. I'm going to start compiling my first book, an autobiography of sorts. I'm going to go on at least one mission trip. I'm going to see my family in Wisconsin.
