Trying to keep this profile updated as much as possible, but with me being on the go go go...it's hard enough just to breathe sometimes! Currently, I have decided to bag the insurance business. I'm licensed in property/casualty but that line of work just wasn't my cup of tea. Currently, I am employed at a youth center that works with juvenile delinquents. It's nice to feel like i'm part of something that is giving back. I've also switched my major from meterology to nursing. After my brother's car accident, and living with two shock trauma nurses, I realized that again...I wanted to be part of something bigger, and maybe actually studying medicine would help me get over my hypochondria! ha ha! Not doing much in the way of theater these days. Between two jobs and school, I can't make the time committment to live theater..although it is my one true passion. Almost finished Down with the Boogey with Cowbell Films and will begin filming Women's Studies with Ningen Manga productions this spring. Woohoo! Hopefully at some point, I will have copies of some of my work! For fun?? as Lori so wonderfully puts it...Shenanigans..sp?? i'm an idiot during the later hours of the night and im too lazy to spell check myself. Hmm..for fun, I laugh alot, Ryan and I are pretty much the biggest idiots in the entire world, but laughter keeps us not only happy, but alive! I'm pretty competitive. I play softball and football for BSSC. Somehow in the past year I have become a HUGE football fan. I actually WANT to spend my entire sunday watching men four times my size wrastle around with the ol pigskin. Traveling Traveling Traveling!! Let's see..I've been to Greece, where I spent three days sleeping in the airport. Not a fun experience considering the only beer they had was Heinkein :( but swimming in the Mediterranean while watching the sunrise of the mountains is a very spiritual and enlightening experience. I've been to the Dominican Republic Twice once where I had my first deep sea fishing experience and managed to snag myself a five foot marlin. I've been to Atlantis in Nassau which is a beautiful resort! They have their own lagoon! I've also been to L.A., Vegas, Oregon, and Cancun. My fave though is Key West! I've been twice! Pretty much been everywhere in Flordia (tampa, st. pete's, boca, lauderdale) and I just got back from South Beach) I went to New Orleans for Halloween one year where I acquired 50 pounds of beads! Just went back to New Orleans this past fall. Katrina really did a number on the city. It's one thing to watch it on T.V...witnessing it, something else. Made my first visit also to the Alamo and Riverwalk in San Antonio and spent Halloween in Austin. Christmas was once again in the beautiful mountains of Oregon. I almost caught me a coyote, but alas, he got he away. This spring....HAWAII! One of the perks of having a boyfriend in the military is all of the great places you get to visit..but on the down side, you have a boyfriend who is always away :( I love the outdoors, chasing down wildlife, running through a flock of rats with wings (city pigeons) I love hiking and the such, would love to white water raft and sky dive one day, it just hasn't fit in to the schedule. I could also just lay in a meadow somewhere and listen to the sweets sounds of a guitar. Lets see what do i like..hmm..snowballs and snowstorms, fireplaces and waves, hot cocoa, car bombs, tequila (minus the worm...hi Ryan!) thundstorms and open fields, Enigma, banging on the rims of glasses with a spoon, baking pies with really bad crusts, making soups with entirely too much salt, kittens and ducks (just not on my plate) laying in bed, running around the house naked with my clothes off (ryan again :P ) suntans and long walks, romance and daisies...learning to dance, learning not to trip up the stairs, starting a book and never finishing it..helping people feel good, trying to do the right thing and making it right when I screw up royally.I just turned 25 and I plan on making this one of the best years of my ife. I'm not sure who am anymore as we are all constantly changing, and i've stopped looking for answers and asking why. It absolutely gets me nowhere but stuck inside of my own head for a few days. BUT!! I do know what I want and I trust in myself to walk down the right path. I'm the queen of run on sentences with too much faith in the natural good in all people. I have seen the light and ran in the other direction.
