Amusement Parks (especially Disneyland), Antique Stores/Flea Markets/Swap Meets/Shopping, Art galleries/Museums, Bookstores, Coffee Houses, Concerts/Live Theatre, Dancing (Clubs/Social Dance/Ballroom Dance/Stage Performances), Movies, Restaurants (Fine Dining & Dessertaholic/Chocoholic), Moonlit Strolls On The Beach, Bowling, Horseback Riding, Ice Skating, Volleyball, Yoga/Pilates, Horseback Riding, Waterslide Parks, and Miniature Golf Parks. Places I would love to travel to include Holland/Amsterdam, Europe, Spain, Mexico, and Australia. I would also love to visit Hawaii, New York, Pennsylvania (Hershey), and Florida (DisneyWorld).
Although I am the type of guy who can be friends with anyone of any age, I tend to be attracted mostly to Latin and Caucasian men (I also like Middle Eastern men) who are 21-mid 40s. I also have a major weakness for naturally red-headed men and men who wear glasses. I find I am drawn more to men who are close to my age or slightly older than myself, who take care of themself physically, and who share similar interests. To me, the most important things in a relationship are honesty, openness in communication, and friendship. My "ideal relationship" would be one where both people look forward to seeing each other for days to come, exploring each other for weeks to come, spending time with each other for months to come, and loving each other for years to come. As for a possible first meeting....well, being a "kid at heart," I would have to say going to Disneyland (or any amusement park). Considering how much time people "waste" standing in line, it would certainly make for several opportunities for conversation. And if we are really enjoying each other's company in a romantic way then a nice candlelit dinner at the Blue Bayou Restaurant (overlooking the Pirates of the Carribbean), holding hands on the Haunted Mansion (and a few kisses), and taking turns sitting in between each other's legs on the Matterhorn and Splash Mountain all come to mind. If the sparks don't fly then at least it was a very memorable date and hopefully a great friendship (and more fun times) will come of it. Of course, anything where both people feel relaxed and can get to know the other person is all that matters. Movies are great, but a horrible way to try and get to know someone (unless combined with other activities). I'm all for "moonlit strolls on the beach, dinner and a movie, or meeting at a coffee house," but being a performing artist (dancer) I admire originality.
I enjoy all types of music, except heavy metal and hardcore rap. I mostly enjoy disco (long live the 1970s!!), latin pop, electronica/trance, club/dance mixes, and 1980s compilations/mixes. My favorite song is "Shoulder To Cry On" by Tommy Page and my favorite female singer is Madonna (yes, I know that's stereotypical).
I love all types of movies, except westerns and war movies (I do enjoy sci-fi, though). I mostly enjoy Disney, horror, and gay-themed romantic comedies. My favorite movie is "Rebel Without A Cause" (big James Dean fan!!). My favorite musicals are "West Side Story" and "My Fair Lady."
My favorite TV show is "Friends," though I also enjoy "Charmed," "Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel," "Will & Grace," "Golden Girls," and "Queer As Folk." Although I am not much of a TV watcher anymore (like I was in the 1980s and early 1990s), I go to movie theaters a lot and enjoy my ever-growing VHS/DVD collection.
Although I am not much of a book reader, I do enjoy horror short-stories and gay-themed romance short-stories. My favorite book that I would love to see made into a movie is "Dream House" by Douglas Borton (horror novel). I subscribe to quite a few magazines (entertainment/dance/gay-themed) and I love browsing through catalogs (postal mail and online).
