(The) Axl Rose Jazz Funk Experience are three men and one boys worth of musical audacity, here to give your ears a true taste of audio delicacy, whether you, we, them or anyone elses likes it or not.

Described recently as being indescribale, we have been plopped into the mixing pot with other musical forms like Ethiopian Jazz, Frank Zappa, "three guys smoking pineal gland", DJ Shadow, a bit dark metal-y, and '80's New York Underground music'.

What happened next, no one is quite sure, and more importantly.. neither are we. ARJFE have gone from a core philosophy of smooth grooves to a land of intense madness, excessive and borderline illegal consumption of tea. Combined with a need to express ourselves in a way that is devoid of visions of personal grandeur and financial security, we are dominated by an intense feeling that it is our time to stand up, to enjoy every single second that we have, and to make music that makes sense to us, and hopefully, one day, to someone else as well.

We are the single most ghetto band in Hull today, and we firmly believe that we have the smallest gigging drum kit in the local area. We pride ourselves on our versatility, playing with a variety of artists from Akiakane (Japanese Punk Sensations!), Laurence Wasser (Belgian Lo-Fi Noise-c0re Masters), Creeeeday (Big Chill Festival style Uber Jazz/Latin/Funk DJ Supremo), Kierononon (uber-brutal-techno-punk masterbeasts) and another up and coming, hotly tipped super brutal bunch of lovely lads known as The Cliques.

We've found ourselves gigging regularly around the local area, and we have to give a massive props to the man, the myth, the legend Paul Jackson for letting a full, unknown and totally untested band play at his acoustic Monday's at The New Adelphi. Almost out of nowhere, we seem to have developed a back catologue of original material which we are slowly playing with, adding to, bastardising and just getting used to in an effort to have a full album [or EP(s)] recorded at some point this year.

Ten Thousand regards to every single one of you, and we hope you enjoy the music, the progression and the non-stop beefy-party-c0re anti-pr0g that we are all about. Keep it jazzfunkalicious you beautiful people!
