I want to strech your thought process. I have been hearing and learning things from the business team that I'm apart of that I've never heard before. Things that school, parents, friends or work will never teach you.
I have a question for you. Do you love being at your job? Do you even LIKE it? Or are you working every day just to "get by" and pay the bills even if you despise your job. What's the point in that. People go to work like slaves, get yelled at all day by bosses and customers, get so stressed out that when they get home they are in a bad mood and don't want to talk to anyone. Let's say you don't get mad at your job. Are you so tired when you get off that you don't want to do anything but eat, watch TV, and go to sleep? Or maybe you do have energy to do something but it's too late by the time you get off. I won't even talk about paychecks! OK maybe I will. I don't care if you slave away for $10 an hour or 100K a year, you're still a slave that is told when to talk, eat, urinate and sleep. If you do make 100k, why does is take you ALL YEAR to make that? That's chump change. If you don't believe me I'll give you Campbell Haigh's phone number and you can ask him, he'll laugh at you! And benefits...HAHA Those are GONE FOREVER! There is no such thing as benefits and job security anymore. What if you get hurt and can't work anymore? What are you going to do now, live off 60% of what you couldn't live off before. Think about what would happen if you, heaven forbid, got downsized, outsized, cut back, or let go (those are just fancy words for FIRED!). It's called the X-Factor. X (remove) your income out of the picture; what kind of situation did you just leave your family in? If the picture doesn't look too good now, you might want to make a change. If you are a REAL man, you will take care of the money situation now (even if you don't need it now), retire your wife and yourself (you can do that before age 65 I promise!), and spend the rest of your life hanging out, traveling the world and just having fun with your wife, kids and friends. That's what I'm setting up right now.
The point I want to get across is, why work so hard your whole life just to squeak by and exist? Why not live your life every day not worrying about money, jobs, or anything? Here's a tip, God has HUGE plans for your life whether you know it or believe it or not. The worst possible feeling you could have is to stand in front of GOD and have Him show you the life you lived vs. the life He wanted you to live! Think about that and decide if what you are doing right now is leading you down a path of greatness.
Let me know if you want to find out a great way to change your path...
