I’m a pure Midwesterner from Toledo, OH. Even though I’ve lived in St Louis for a year now I still say pop, not soda and a Hoosier is someone from Indiana. My build is Midwest too…corn-fed, tall and thick (I think my German roots from my mom’s side of the family might have something to do with it though.) As far as my interests go, I’m about as diverse as you can get. Music is a passion and I play the bassoon in a local concert band, learning to play the bagpipes and on top of all that, I still find time to play the pipe organ and in two handbell choirs. My work day is spent in an office building, where I’m a Senior Buyer for a chemical company and I spend my days negotiating and working on projects. One of the few jobs where you get paid to be an ass! When you first meet me, I’ll be a little shy and quiet, but you’ll soon find that I am the nicest, funniest person you’ve ever met and I can pepper any conversation with a witty remark! Education has always been important to me and I’ve studied abroad in France and Germany twice. I’m a learner and I really enjoy learning/studying new things and meeting new people. Some of my closest friends are my complete opposites in that I enjoy learning new things by interacting with them and just spending time with them. That’s how I learned how to ski!!
