Lithium X-Mas

About Me

Born: 1985 - Died: ?The very first Lithium X-mas show starring Mark Ridlen, Greg Synodis, Gatiim Chakamoi, and Josh Weinberg was downstairs at the Starck Club in February 1985, for a special event psychedelic party. Songs played included Journey To The Center of the Mind, Fresh Garbage, White Rabbit, Oh Yeah (by Can), etc.Mark Griffin (MC 900 Ft. Jesus) and Drummer Steve Giovanazzi joined Greg and Mark R. (minus Gatiim and Josh) sometime in 1985 -- soon after Jesus and Mary Chain released "Never Understand" which was a noted touchstone and inspiration. This line up (including Gitiim and KY Boyce) released a beautifully designed cassette only package entitled "Aneurysm" in 1986 -- recorded by Mark Griffin. It included tracks "Jump Into The Fire" (also used for Love and Napalm EP, 1st release on King Coffey’s Trance Records Syndicate), "Message to Charlie"(used for single on Rockadelic label), "Magnu" and the first version of "Hip Death Goddess. These tracks and more were compiled on cd for the Bad Karma release on Lost Records in 1996.(more to follow...)Heli-coopters by nature. We blow you a kiss in the wind...
