I came up with the story in the summer of 2007 while i was working on an independent film in Austin, Texas. We are shooting the film in Alvarado, Texas. Demented is about a simple american family's downfall once the mother dies giving birth. After the mother dies they blame the child for the death of both the mother and of a son shortly after by comitting suicide. Demented goes into the life of Matthew and what he goes through from when he is born, all through to when he is an adult. By being abused mentally and physically. We are going to start filming this summer.
