30% of total score: INTERVIEW: Each delegate will have a one on one interview with a panel of judges prior to the preliminary competitions. This is a way to get to know the delegates a little better and letting them express themselves while discussing current events, women's issues, community service, education, and more.30% of total score: SWIMSUIT: Each delegate will have the opportunity to model a swimsuit provided by the pageant and express her poise, confidence, and physical fitness. Each delegate will have the opportunity to choose from a few different styles of swimsuits that are cohesive to one another. We want our delegates to feel as comfortable on stage as possible so their self confidence can shine on stage.30% of the total score: EVENING GOWN: Each delegate will model a floor length formal evening gown of her choice. She will he judged on grace, poise, gown and overall stage presence.10% of total score (Top 5 only): FINAL QUESTION: The top 5 contestants will answer a final question on stage during the final competition. This score will be added to their overall score.

Music:
1. Must be a naturally born female. 2. Must be a legal citizen of the United States. 3. Must be between the ages of 18-26 before or on the day of the pageant. 4. Must be of good and moral character. 5. Any contestant and/or family member or guest showing unsportsmanlike behavior will lead to the disqualification of the contestant. No refunds will be given. 6. Contestants who exhibit any behavior during her reign that is unbefitting of a Miss National US Organization titleholder (including and not limited to under age drinking, drug use, any and all illegal activities, posing completely or partially nude, etc.) must relinquish their titles and forgo all prizes and connections with the Miss National US Scholarship Pageant TM. 7. Must be single, unmarried but may have children. Delegates with children are limited to one birth. This birth can have resulted in one or more children, but delegates could have only given birth once. 8. All decisions as to the eligibility shall be determined by the Miss National US Scholarship Pageant TM. 9. Contestants may withdraw from the competition at any time, however, in doing so, must return state crown and sash to the national office. Under no circumstances and not for any reason will there be a refund in whole or in part of any fees paid. All fees paid to Miss National US Scholarship Pageant TM are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to entry fees, advertising fees, pageant admission ticket sales fees, guest meal fees and any other fees paid to Miss National US Scholarship Pageant TM by anyone including, but not limited to, delegates, sponsors, and advertisers. 10. State titleholders must complete a minimum of 60 hours of community service during their year reign. Upon winning the national title, that delegate must complete an additional 36 hours of community service. Titleholders have the freedom to complete their community service anyway they wish, however it must be documented by either certified letter or photographs and sent to the national office. 11. Must compete in all areas of competition (personal interview, swimsuit, and evening gown) to be eligible to vie for the national title. 12. Must not currently hold a local, state, national, or international title of any system that is not associated with the Miss National US Scholarship Pageant TM of the duration of your current state title. 13. May not participate in any competition of the pageantry type of the duration of your state title. 14. May not participate in the 2009 Miss National US Scholarship Pageant TM until entry fee is completely paid and there is no outstanding paper work or other fees to be returned to the national offices. 15. If delegates to not adhere to any of these rules, she will be immediately stripped of her title and her first runner up (if applicable) will take her place and will be given all prizes and responsibilities of the previous titleholder.
