Facing Forever began in January 2005, when Robb and Jason met after church one day and decided to get together to play through a couple of Jason's songs. Although it was very informal in the beginning, they did like the way the songs were coming together and asked Clint to come out to play as well. Once they put a good set together, they played their first show in August of 2005, where soon after, Andy came on board.Jason started playing guitar and singing at a very young age. His first band was a punk band out of the Central Coast of California--most remembered under the name Soul Doubt. He played for seven years with this band, and did a lot of shows throughout California. After Soul Doubt ended, he began writing a lot of solo, acoustic music, which became some of Facing Forever's first songs. Jason lives in Pismo Beach with his wife Cheryl, and their daughter Annika.Robb grew up listening to metal (and the like) and you'll hear some of that coming through in his drumming--he simply likes to keep it rolling.Clint was raised in music and has played the guitar off and on for about 9 years. Facing Forever is his first experience in a band other than high school music groups at church and school in Bakersfield. His influences include: Disciple, Blindside, Sevendust, Staple, Subseven, Three Doors Down, Collective Soul, Blackball/Precious Death, Embodyment, 311, and Alice in Chains - long live old school. Clint enjoys bringing an aggressive side to the band to portray his part in the "multi-influenced" Facing Forever. Clint lives in Grover beach.Andy, Clint's brother, grew up in music as well. Started playing bass when he was about 17 years old or so, off and on, started full time when he was offered a spot in facing forever, ....Influences include Precious Death, Tourniquet, Alice in Chains, Days of the New. But loves listening to heavy music, Six feet under, Zao, Hatbreed, etc...He's just the mellow dude that stands in the back and helps Robb keep the bottom end rolling. He lives in Bakersfield with his beautiful wife and their two dogs...
