I've finished 6 manuscripts and am currently working on getting my 7th published. It's called Heather in the Rock and is based on the true Scottish story that unfolded behind the blueprint research.
Hey, I'm Diane (also known as JerseyGirl or Rosgmom) and I am doing my best to enjoy every aspect of my life. I have 5 wonderful grand-children who are a big part of my life... but don't be fooled...I love my alone time when I get a chance to work on a new novel, or slide into a good book that someone else has penned.
A few things of the utmost importance... My Family, first and foremost, then comes Traveling (I can never seem to get my fill of it) ....oh... and a great cup of coffee!

Over the years I've developed a deep fascination with Scotland. It all began when I came across something quite interesting, and it just happened to stray us overseas. Twenty years ago a friend found a set of 18th century blueprints in an old trunk she purchased in a thrift shop in Philly. The plans were of an old Estate situated on the edge of the sea in the NW Highlands. After a year of research and sleuthing, we discovered to our amazement that the Estate was still there.And so we set out on a journey to return the plans back home where they belonged. It turned out to be an extraordinary trip for me, taking me back to a fascinating past, drowning me in mystery and a keen understanding of my life to this day. I've included photos of the Estate here in the form of a slideshow below and newer shots from this past September. Enjoy.

I try to take life as it comes, and I'm happy with what I have...although a little cottage over the pond would be the ultimate for me.
