About Me

undefinedundefined“I want to live where soul meets body.”
Hyaz!
Erfy here to attack you with random of bits of nonsense that make perfect sense if you were in my head. You see, everything is connected in some way. I’m the truest definition of “introvert”. I find stimulation in my own thoughts and ideas. However, I’m quite extroverted in the fact that I enjoy being around people. I have a unique outlook on people and society. I enjoy the company of certain people (my friends, certain important people, ect.) but in general, I hate people. We’re a nasty virus infecting the Earth. (Nope, can’t tell I’ve seen the Matrix hundreds of times.)
So let me tell you a little about myself.
“’Cause you’re the only song I want to hear.”
I am tall, slim, slender, - wait, just go look at my pictures! Gah!
Ok. So less on looks more on personality.
“Squeaky swings and tall grass,
The longest shadows ever cast.”

I love writing. It is my passion. Not so much poetry, but long stories that are more or less fiction, but with a lot of influence from the real world. People who influence me include Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare (who agrees with me that no good love story can end without a tragedy (most of the time)), and all of my friends. I put a little of me in every story. If you know me well enough, you’ll recognize things. Check out some of my writing at www.fanfiction.net/~miraruskin and www.fictionpress.com/~miraruskin . You might like it.
In my spare time I enjoy:
Music, anime, manga, food, shakes, dancing, singing in the car, four-wheeling, traveling, trying new things, dreaming, sleeping, writing, taking pictures, drawing and sketching, painting, playing the piano, plucking around on my guitar, digging through my jewelry box, trying on hundreds of rings, running around Wal-mart singing Sex And Candy and making points about what prison life is like, rewriting things I enjoy reading, sewing blankets and purses and the lot, driving my X-Mod around the streets, having Airsoft wars on the beach, imagining things, checking my e-mail, goofing around on Gaia, completing the Final Fantasy series, watching movies, hanging out with friends, pushing the limits of my curfew, going out to dinner, showing off how fun opening a Ramuné is, circling things I want in magazines, cutting cute ads out and taping them to my wall, and oh so much more.
“Love of mine…”
Is that enough of me for you yet? Congratulations for getting that far. I’m proud of you. Seriously. I think it takes someone very strong or not very sane to handle me. I’m a handful. I’m hard to hold on to. I’m wild. I’m utterly insane and you’ll never ever in a million bajillion gazillion years meet another person like me. If you do, tell me. I’ll have to kill them to preserve my uniqueness.
“And it came to me then that every plan is a tiny prayer to Father Time.”
Thing I Want To Do Before I Die:
(I’ve done the strikethrough’s)
1. Walk up to someone cute that I don’t know in a restaurant and just kiss him.
2. Visit every single continent.
3. Visit every state.
4. Eat something crazy from another country.
5. Have a real Piña Colada from a coconut.
6. Go on a cruise.
7. Fly.
8. Learn a whole song on the guitar.
9. Learn a whole song on the piano.
10. Make those guys in the hats laugh.
“It was 100 degrees as we sat beneath a willow tree,
Whose tears didn’t care they just hung in the air,
And refused to fall,
To fall…”

My Ten Commandments!
Abide by these and you shall surely enjoy your life to the fullest.
Trust me.
1. Plant your dreams firmly in your heart.
2. Take delight in the little things.
3. Be the rice ball in the fruits basket.
4. Take the chance of losing, instead of not taking the chance at all.
5. Sing like no one’s listening.
6. Dance like no one’s watching.
7. Be you-nique.
8. Listen much, talk little.
9. Stand strong in your beliefs.
10. Fall in love as often as you can.
“I’m a war of head versus heart,
and it’s always the same.”

There. That’s me. I’m me. Accept me or die. (‘Tis joke.)
The truth is…
I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t care what you have to say about me. The only people that matter to me are the ones that like me for me. Don’t try to change who I am. Don’t try to pretend you like me if you don’t. Speak your mind with me, I’ll accept everything that you believe and say as truth.
Things I Hate
(I wish I could actually tell you what I don’t like or what scares me, but the truth is that I can’t. I know not to trust the majority of people I know except my close friends with information that I hold dear to me. There are mean people in the world. Those people would rub what I’m afraid of or what I’m against in my face. I don’t appreciate that. So, if I tell you that I don’t like something or fear something, feel special. You’re one of the few.)
“Love is watching someone die.”

My Interests

Psychology, criminology, writing poetry, writing fiction, writing fanfiction (fanfiction.net/~miraruskin), drawing, sketching, painting, watercolors, anime, books, stargazing, the beach, and dreaming

I'd like to meet:

I would always like to meet my Great Uncle Russell.
Some of the late writers that inspire me to do what I do, including Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare who agrees with me that a good love story can only end in tragedy. (Well, not all the time...but most!) Some modern writers I would enjoy talking with about their work include Vivian Vande Velde, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Amanda Ashley, and Nina Bangs.

Music:

I live for music!!! Lifehouse, Chevelle, Greenday, Seether, Sugarcult, Evanescence, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Reliant K, Simple Plan, Nickelback, Fall Out Boy, Shinedown, Disturbed, Nightwish, Within Temtpation, Angela Aki, t.A.T.u., Kelly Clarkson, AFI, The Used, Linkin Park, The Goo Goo Dolls, 3 Doors Down, L'Arc en Ciel, Anna Nalick, Regina Spektor, and a bunch of other people I don't feel like naming right now.

Movies:

I don't watch that many movies, but some of my favorites include Interview with the Vampire, Spirited Away, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Apocalypse, Finding Neverland, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Television:

Rarely do I ever turn on the television. It's valuable time I could be spending writing. But, when I do, I'm hooked on certain animes. FMA, Evangelion, Wolf's Rain, Yami No Matsuei, Eureka Seven, Loveless, Furuba...

Books:

I've almost always got my nose in a novel somewhere! I love books that deal with vampires, romance, certain fanfictions, tragedy, everything that sparks emotion basically. That's what writing is. It's emotion. If you find yourself angry at a book, or crying over the death of a character, then the author knows they've succeeded. You, the reader, empathize with what they've written. I know what keeps me writing are the reactions I get from people.

Heroes:

My hero is my journal. It's where all my life pours out into a story that I'll eventually give to you!
