INTRODUCING: DE'ARIHello, my name is De'Ari (d-ari). It is a stage name which comes from the nick name Deari (dear-ree). I am a twenty one year old female. I was born and raised in Flint,Mi on May 17, 1987. I am a r&b singer, I write the majority of all my lyrics. My music targets young females growing up, as well as the grown and mature crowd. Some of my influences are Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Mary j.b.,Tamia and many more! I am first a singer/performer, then a writer, and model. Many say that I am a very charismatic,funny, talented, young lady who loves to live her life! Raised in a economically challenged home, at a young age I found a love for music and writing; I am the youngest of six children. During my years in middle and high school I participated in pagents, choir, basketball, cheerleading, track, marching band, modeling, and homecoming courts. Some of my interest are traveling, writing, music, shopping, and styling hair. My job allows me to cover the expences that comes along with being a recording artist such as studio time, artist promo, and projects. I have just released my debut album on Nov 15, 2008 titled ''Just Me''. It has sold very well so far! I simply just live and learn. I work with several producers from different areas. Outside of my work place I regularly see a vocal coach,exercise, perform, write, record music, challenge my acting, singing, and dancing ablities at the Flint Institute of Music and performing arts. Even though I consider myself unique and original my sound is often compared to Ashanti, keyshia Cole, and Rihanna. I work very hard on my music and take it very seriously. My future plans are to be sign to a record label, open a hair salon, play in movies, pursue my aspirations as a print/commercial model, and make a living traveling the world as a major recording artist. I am determined to be sucsessful, due to the stuggles I have already overcome in my life. I will achieve all of this by staying persistant, humble, and from the support of my family, friends, and God. I hope u have gotten to know me a little more as a artist. I love life and refuse to waist it on haters and immature people. So if you can dig that then I guess I can dig you.
