Hi my neme is: Jornt, I'm a musician from Rotterdan in the Netherlands. I compose music fore cartoons, theater plays, and just to dance to in your local club. I love music and as a "professional" drummer I play in all sorts of groups with all sorts of styles, shapes, and forms. As long as I feel it I'll play it.
On this myspace page you can view some examples of the work I do. My work consists of drumming with artists like Boom boom du Terre, Kid[sic], GMB and some occasional projects. And composing fore: Ka-chingcartoons, Rotjongen and de ontbranding. I'm also a great fan of working out new ways of using technology combined with drums, mostly with the use of Max M.S.P. (in cooperation with my good friends from Rnul interactive they know about software!) I drum on several installations with video, lights and motors. Check it out (:

Bang on the screen is a video drum band, 4 students play the drums and the video samples. The video samples were made by students of the davicie college under Roger's and my supervision. I made the composition in a way that it could be played and remembered by the drummers in just 2 rehearsals. Enjoy
