Lázaro Pérez ( LASHY ) nació el 17 de diciembre en el vecindario de MANTILLA en la HABANA CUBA. At the age of 19 he along with 4 friends secured tractor inner tubes with rope and began their escape. They knew they were only 90 miles from freedom if they could just stay alive. Their raft took on water so they spent the next week up their knees in water trying to survive. Finally after one week at sea they were picked up by US Coast Guards and taken to Guantanamo. Sale de la ISLA un 30 de SEPTIEMBRE del 1994 en una BALSA junto a 4 de sus AMIGOS. ES recogido en el MAR a 55 MILLAS fuera de CUBA una SEMANA DESPUES por los GUARDACOSTAS USA. Luego es LLEVADO a GUANTÁNAMO BAY ( BASE MILITAR USA ) hasta JUNIO del 1995 ya que un MES DESPUES de estar alli se le ofrece ir para PANAMA ( BASE MILITAR NAVAL EN EL CANAL ) lo cual hiso pero fue regresado OTRAVES a GUANTÁNAMO BAY CUBA en OCTUBRE y logra conseguir llegar a USA el 12/20/95. For the next two years he sat waiting for his chance of freedom. Lashy was eventually granted entry into the USA on 12/17/73. NO FAMILIA, NO PERRITO, NO GATITO, en FIN, sin NADIE pero con mucha FE. Logra recuperarce 2 AÑOS despues en USA, se convierte en DJ Local por 3 AÑOS ya que la MÚSICA siempre le ENCANTÓ y le SIGUIÓ tanto que en sus FIESTAS en donde trabajaba como DJ ponia al ambiente a gosar con sus IMPROVISACIONES ( FREE STYLE ) sin darce el mismo cuenta hasta que un dia decide ser ARTISTA ( LATIN REGGAE HIP HOP ARTIST ) lo cual logra. A chance meeting with Latin producer Joe Zazueta, combining talents with Hip Hop and Reggae ( REGGAETON ). His unique style was then noticed by everybody. Now with the backing of his knowledge in music Lashy is finally on the verge of achieving what for so long seemed impossible to a young boy in La Habana…His American Dream. Conoce a JOE ZAZUETA en PHOENIX ARIZONA ( PRODUCTOR ) y hace su Primer CD llamado ( DJ LASHY ) el cual lo conduce a darce conocer en el FAMOSO SHOW CALIENTE por UNIVISION en MIAMI en el 2005. DOS AÑOS DESPUES Produce su Segundo CD ( LASHY ) y alcanza llegar al FESTIVAL DE CALLE 8 por TELEMUNDO en MIAMI en el 2007. On 2007 he got in to radio's campaign debuting his 1rs and 2nd singles “Candela” & "Boom Chaka Laka" ( VA Latino at 41 on La Ritmo, MAJESTIC MIAMI ) included service to both terrestrial and Internet stations along with various record pools throughout the U.S. and parts of Europe. Lashy's music has been heard on Stations as MAJIC MIX RADIO, WLLD, WRJD, KPND, KSGF, KWME, WVNN, WCZR, WCSR & BROWN PRIDE RADIO. Thanks to the support of Record pools in the US, Mexico and Europe Lashy’s music has been heard on hundreds of Radio, Club, Mix Show and Mobile DJ’s. Al mismo tiempo su música llega a ser escuchada en las siguientes estaciones : KNRJ, MAJIC MIX RADIO, WLLD, WRJD, WVEE, KBFM, WCAA/WZAA, WRGP, KPND, KSGF, KWME, WVNN, WNOV, KPHN,KVCU, WCZR, WCSR & BROWN PRIDE RADIO, WOCE, BATANGA RADIO, 95 LATINO VIBE con sus sencillos ( "CANDELA y BOOM CHAKA LAKA" ) Lashy has also performanced Univisions hot dance SHOW CALIENTE, TELE DIA, CALLE 8 on TELEMUNDO & CBS news story on the growth of Reggaeton music. LASHY se ha presentado en muchos FESTIVALES, EVENTOS, DISCOTECAS, etc...Tal asi ha compartido el escenario con artistas nominados como N.O.R.E., KEMO the BLAXICAN, TONY HAZE y RAMESES en la Celebracion “Reggaeton Explosion” en el CELEBRITY THEATRE y continuó presentandoce en ROCKY POINT MEXICO por varios años. Esto lo ayudó mucho a reconocer su estilo propio y sonido unico.
