Minimonster (aka PsyJar) was born in Porto (Portugal) in June 1974!
His first incursion into live music was as the lead singer of a heavy metal band called "WC Noise". In 10 years of existence the band released 2 records, played several concerts backing well known bands and also made a european tour. The band eventually split and it's members went in different directions.
The direction he chose was electronic music and this led him to be part of different projects with other portuguese artists - "System ID" (Trance), "Zero Sequence" (Psychedelic Trance), "Chilled C'Quence" (Ambient/Downtempo) and "Palace" (Progressive Trance).
Along with these projects he also makes music for theater and film.
In December of 2007 he started making music of a different style: PsyJar gets a new 'mutant capability upgrade' - giving him the oportunity of transforming into...
...Minimonster!
