I love things that uplift the spirit, spark creativity and expand the way we look at the world.
I view friendship much like an old time marriage. It is, to me, important that the people in my life are open-minded, non-judgmental and willing to work on differences as if one's life depended on it. As a family, we are extremely devoted to our friends and hope to find others who are similarly minded.

I like most kinds of music, but am particularly fond of Tear of the Moon by Coyote Oldman. It features Incan Panpipes and is the music I play when I am most in need of soul soothing.
My favorite movie is Feast of July which is a drama. I watch many other types including comedies, psychological thrillers and even some action depending on the story line. In most cases, I tend toward movies that leave room for the viewer to interpret different elements and really enjoy independent films.
I'd love to say I don't watch much television, but it isn't true. Lately, I've watched a lot and it ranges from sports to the history channel. My interests are so varied that I love learning from the many shows that are now available.
Out of all the books I've ever read, Crime and Punishment is the book to which I measure all others. Even in saying that, I must say I read more non-fiction than fiction and again, enjoy learning from each and every one. It doesn't seem to matter if the book is a children's book or the indepth voice of ancient wisdom, I find something fascinating and thorough about each and every one.
The heroes in my life are those very special people who have shown me that love does come unconditionally. Each knows who he or she is and how much I value them.
