About Me

Californian exile and still somewhat of a newcomer to Portland. I currently work in printing and balance most of my free time between reading, writing and working on music projects. I haven't developed much of a social life since moving here and trying to do so has been like learning how to walk all over again. I have a rather remote personality and tend to be more observant than assertive. More than often I fall into long periods of isolation which can be frustrating for others to comprehend. I'm also very skeptical toward a lot of traditional things, for better or worse, and have little interest in wealth, family life, careers, pop culture and materialistic gain. I believe that poverty and solitude is an admirable virtue. My interests include synthesizers, experimental art and music, video games, dark psychological literature and all the absurdities in everyday life that make it worth laughing at.

My Interests

Reading, writing, poetry, sound, music, discord, painting, electronic sculptures, performance art, Dada, science, evolution, space, psychology, philosophy, absurdity, conspiracy, immanent realities, paradox, void, satire, tragedy, video games, synthesizers, drum machines, confusion, patterns, repetition, cheap wine, observation, neurotypicals

I'd like to meet:

Fellow writers, artists, noisicians, naked eyes, the disillusioned and all those sifting through the madness for the word, the line and the way. Honesty and rationality beyond comprehension. Insightful individuals with inspiring stories to tell. I have two ears, but one mouth. I'd much rather listen than talk.
