Seth Rogen is by far the funniest actor today in my opinion. He's also a great screenwriter. He did standup comedy for four years as a teenager. He began working on the superbad script with Evan Goldberg when he was thirteen and finished his first draft when he was fifteen. He began his acting career on a TV show called Freaks and Geeks. Then he was on a show called Undeclared. I've never seen an episode of either of the shows but I've heard a lot of good stuff about them. Many of the actors from those shows have roles in 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad and Pineapple Express. Seth is a very talented actor and great with improvisational dialog. *Pineapple Express- This film has been completed and opens August 8th, 2008. Rogen wrote the screenplay with Evan Goldberg and stars in it with James Franco. Rogen plays a pothead that flee's from police along with his dealer (Franco) after witnessing a cop murder someone.
*Drillbit Taylor-Is currently in post production according to IMDB. Seth doesn't star in it but he did write the screenplay along with Kristofor Brown. It stars Owen Wilson and Leslie Mann(Judd Apatow's wife). It's about two kids that hire a low-budget bodyguard to protect them from a school bully. Owen Wilson plays that bodyguard and Leslie Mann is the teacher he becomes interested in. This is scheduled to be released March 21st.
