Born in Carinthia /Austria I started to play drums at the age of 9. After visiting the local music-school I decided to attend the conservatory of music in Klagenfurt with Prof. Erich Bachtraegl. I finished my studies ‘cum laude’ and went to Los Angeles/California to study with Mike Shapiro, Matt Starr, Ralph Humphrey, Joe Porcaro, Tony Inzalaco, Mike Packer, Aaron Serfaty and Jerry Steinholtz at the 'LA Music Academy'.
