OB-LA-DI...Life Goes On!

About Me

myspace

I was made in Japan and born in Hong Kong. I am 28 years young and am married to a wonderful officer in the US Marine Corps. We recently moved from Okinawa, Japan and are now stationed in N. Carolina.

I lived most of my childhood in the most wonderful town of Moraga, California. I went off to Wheaton College in Massachusetts and graduated in three and half years! I am currently working on my masters degree in Elementary Education!

I am a very outgoing individual who loves to take adventures! I have traveled to many places around the world but still have many more places to see.

I am an optomistic individual who lives life to its fullest!

Austin, my son, is growing like a weed. It is amazing being a mother. Never a dull moment.

And Now I'm expecting my second child. The baby is due Oct. 1st 2007. Can't wait for number 2!

My Interests

Teaching and playing the piano, swimming, listening to music, baking my almost famous KAREN'S KOOKiES!, hanging out with friends, crocheting, hiking, jogging, and being with my best friend and husband, TIMIAN MICHAEL LEWIS. And my newest "job" is taking care of my precious baby boy, Austin Drew.

Music:

All kinds!

Movies:

The Power of One, Dazed and Confused, Napoleon Dynamite, Dead Poets Society....to be continued.

Television:

I truly hardly EVER watch TV. When I was living in the US, I enjoyed watching the Discovery Channel and Court TV. I like the Detective and Forensitc Shows. I love CSI. And every Friday night I go to the Marine Corps Officer's Club to watch Survivor with friends! We like to bet on who will get kicked off. The pot is over $80 right now!! Fun times!

Books:

At the present time...baby books are what I am reading. But I'm still trying to get through the Harry Potter series. I'm on book 4. Dan Brown is now my favorite author next to James Patterson.

Heroes:

My amazing parents. Married for over 38 years and going strong. I love them with all my heart. And Timian Michael Lewis is my hero. He has one of the hardest jobs in the world and does it with such pride. I love him for being the strong Marine, husband and father that he is!
