How EchoShift was born!!! Stosh and Rivers have been jamming together for about 4 years or so on various projects in the Buffalo area. The rest goes a little something like this: Stosh meets VDB...Stosh already knows Neidrauer from The Music Store and the four of us meet up on a Monday night @ Garden Park...WoW...we actually went there!! The conversation consists mostly of, "Hey, you guys wanna be in a band?" "Sure" ...so, EchoShift was born. I know...pretty exciting shit, huh?? HAHAEchoShift was formed out of a pure desire to play good music and have fun while doing it. Based on the philosophy of playing songs we grew up with ie. Chili Peppers, STP, and Rage...we're hitting the Buffalo music scene with the love of the tunes and the ability to bring back memories and entertain with our music. Priding ourselves on being different from every other cover act out there in the Buffalo area today, we are four musicians who could be doing it for a living just don't have the time to be doing it just yet. Now, with our unrelinquishing taste for the stage and new focus on the group, we have improved our music by adding more harmonies and new instruments like the Saxophone and Keys in places you'd never expect!!
