On a personal note… My life has truly been a blessing from God, even through all the hardships that I have encountered...
I would like to consider myself a classy, fun and outgoing, loveable young women. I am very open-minded and I do not persecute those who do not share in my same beliefs, though I welcome those who do.
I have been blessed to have a wonderful family. They are the most important thing to me in my life and there is nothing that I would not do for them. They have taught me the true value of unconditional love.
I have many interests. My number one passion is photography. I love taking pictures and I consider it to be my legacy and journal. . I am a very ambitious and competitive person. Although, I have been told that I look like a prissy girl, I am an athlete and an avid sports-aholic: basketball, dancing (especially salsa), volleyball, softball, golf, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, jet skiing, running, etc. I love all sports… I just started sk8boarding. I think that I am terrible at it… I truly believe that you are never to young to start. My favorite and lifetime love is definitely basketball. Watch out GUYS!!! CAUSE I AM VICIOUS!!!
I just graduated from Metro State College of Denver. I finished with a double major in Spanish and Visual Communications. In Spring of 2006, I studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico where I had the opportunity to travel to over 13 different cities. I fell in love with Mexico and their amazing culture. I love all my friends and family in México... you know who you special people are. You changed my life forever and I am so grateful for that.
Moreover, I am very PROUD of my own heritage: Irish, Slovenian, and Welsh. We still have family in Ireland and Slovenia.
In short, I like to consider myself a layed back kind of girl... I like to fly by the seat of my pants and I am always looking for my next adventure. I like to think of myself as a very compassionate person who is determined and lives each day to her fullest. (Sounds cheesy, but honest!)
I have complete faith in God that he is always with me... and that everything in life happens for a reason..."That God gives the most Challenges to the Character that is the strongest… so you might as well take it as a compliment."
I truly believe that if you believe in yourself, nothing is impossible, nothing is unreachable... "Anything the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve"... I feel that I am "Too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful and too determined to be defeated.
One of my favorite quotes is that "If you judge people, you have no time to love them." These are the words of Mother Teresa and I aspire to know such love...
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
