February 16, 2009 - Poquito Maz would like to let all of our fans know that lead vocalist Maria Larsen and the band have parted ways. The decision was business driven due to the new direction Poquito Maz is heading, and yes, It was an extremely hard decision to make. Poquito Maz wishes Maria all the best in her future musical endeavors.
This news will not mean we are taking a break, as a matter of fact the band will be busier than ever.

POQUITO MAZ has been tearing up the regional Tejano Music scene now for 20 years. Despite any line-up changes over the years this band always brings the highest level of musicianship and packs dancefloors at every show. Among the shows that they played recently are: The Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair (San Antonio, Texas), and opening for headlining act Los Lobos.
