LIGHT UP DISTRICT[RIP] THANKS FOR THE GOOD TIMES!!

About Me

Light Up District is a progressive/experimental rock band comprised of four members who maintain musical independence and converge to formulate a sound all their own. Utilizing heavy rocking riffs, odd times, polyrhythm, solid harmonic vocals, and grounded lyrics, Light Up District creates versatile genre-crossing material, no doubt a consequence of the union of ideas that binds the group. Light Up District maintains solid, rock form, while being deeply committed to groove and an ambient quality sure to satisfy . Light Up District existed between March 2006 and April 2009, and logged 90 shows in the time between. The band also manages to record a demo, a live full length album, and another officially unreleased E.P.
