Jae Rich was born in Chicago , Illinois , and has always overcome many trials and tribulations. Living on the low end, 54th & Michigan around violence, drugs,etc, he had to mature at a young age, keep his head up and faith in God to protect him from the many fates that the streets can bring. Running with the guys who resided at his apartment and advice given to him from his parents, he was able to learn how to survive. He was always determined to become rich and although it has not come yet, he is proud because he has made something of his life. While staying in touch with his grandmother and going to church, he developed a vocal talent that the church could not deny. After moving to Hazel Crest, Jae Rich began performing at local venues until his junior year of high school. On December 25, 2001, what was supposed to be the happiest day for him, turned into a tragedy when his mother passed away. He then moved with his father and while grieving with her death he began writing more and more, to cope with the situation at hand. During that process, Jae Rich realized that music was his calling from God. He then went back to his love in music which seemed like a second nature at first. Several years later, he has grown with his music and turned it into a profession. Now Jae Rich is determined to make it in the dirtiest business that exists. He sings, writes, etc., and hopes to share his many talents/gifts with the world someday.
