Old Chapel Studio

Old Chapel Studio is a 16 track recording studio catering for the production of demo discs and EPs for young/up-and-coming musicians and bands. Set in the welsh hills on the outskirts of Newtown, Mid Wales, this small but resourceful studio offers a relaxed yet professional environment in which to produce quality recordings of your band. Although consisting of just two rooms the old chapel can be customized to meet the requirements of most bands and musicians.
The Live room’s well proportioned size (with acoustically treated vocal booth) gives a versatile space in which to record anything from drum kits to stringed instruments. The fully equipped Control room offers a comfy space to work on mixes, listen back to takes or just sit and watch others tracking in the live room through the large glass panelled wall.
The Old Chapel is specifically aimed at young bands and musicians who want to produce Demos and EPs to promote themselves but cannot afford the hefty prices of larger studios. If you or your band are interested in recording please email us with your requirements and we’ll be happy to arrange a session that will tie in with your budget – however small.
