Marsha is a Seattle singer/songwriter, composer, producer, musician and teacher. All her life she has known that music, like breathing, is vital to every aspect of life. Marsha’s first CD, "Sing My Way Home" released in June 2001, is receiving rave reviews.Her songs are stories of personal journeys and personal triumphs inspired by life and death, love and loss and the eternal hope that sings in each of us. The CD is a creative and collaborative effort which inspired and birthed a spontaneous live feeling. The line up of musicians and singers appearing on the CD are some of the finest the Pacific Northwest has to offer: Nancy K. Dillon, Bruce Blood, Janet Peterson, Kim Townsend, Bill Corral, Richard Middleton, Will Dowd and Paul Elliot.The CD follows a storyline of a journey from a place of not knowing and lost, to one of new life of hope and freedom. While many of the songs are written from personal experience they all carry a universal message.

Marsha has a commitment to promoting peace and the honoring of all world cultures through learning and teaching music from around the world.
Marsha has been singing for close to 40 years and voice is her main instrument. She also plays guitar, piano, flute, clarinet, Irish penny whistle, djembe, shekere and the Australian didjeridoo. Over the years she has sung solo in a variety of settings, been a member of a dozen choirs, had lead parts in musicals, directed adult and youth choirs, played and sang in a dance band and recently directed a school band. She currently works in schools teaching children and adults how to play the Australian Didjeridoo as well as instruments and songs of Africa. Marsha also gives private lessons in beginning guitar, voice, flute and clarinet. She delights in bringing her music to people of all ages.
