About Me

Charmin Wray Band is original acoustic electric pop, driven by lush vocals and singer songwriter strong poetic lyrics. We strip all our songs down to dirty crying country when we are feeling tender, heartbroken, and giddy. We want to play! We can open for your band at the bar, play house parties, barbecue's, barn raisings, country hootenannys, hell raisings, frat parties, after hours parties, farmers markets, street fairs, etc.Past performances include The University District Street Fair, The Rendezvous, Blue Moon, Ballard Firehouse (RIP), Cafe Allegro, Madison's Cafe (currently the Skylark Club), and The Hopvine.Charmin started singing when she was a mere tot in the Congregation of King Solomon Baptist Church in Memphis Tennessee. She wrote, sang, and played guitar for Seattle Bands Squat and Gigglepuss way back when. Richard has been playing drums since he was 13, and had the amazing fortune of studying with Freddie Gruber in Los Angeles. Eric hails from Texas, he is a local treasure with his black acoustic bass we call Hiram.
