Action Now!

Action Now is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of people living in poverty. Our main focus is to inspire young people to make a positive impact in their communities, and connect them to the resources they need to help make a difference.
Our Mission is to improve lives while educating young people about issues dealing with poverty.
To do this we will motivate children and young adults to reach out to people who are less fortunate than they are, and raise money for people and organizations that share our vision of better communities.
Note: While Action Now is focused on the fight against poverty, we strongly encourage and support young people fighting for any cause they believe in.
About 36.5 million people currently live in poverty. Nearly 13 million of those people are under the age of 18. This means that these people live without essentials for “a minimum standard of well-being and life.”
Worldwide there are nearly three billion people that live on less than two dollars a day; that’s nearly half of the world’s population.
People who live under these circumstances cannot afford to buy things like food, clothing, and proper shelter. Some parents cannot afford to send their children to school, which is why almost one billion people in the world cannot even sign their name.
Many of you have the power to change this. Even if you do not have money to donate you can help just by educating your community. Let them know that about 30,000 children die each day because of poverty. Let them know that they can help.
