BOBBY BOY

Born in Detroit, raised in the sterile surrounding suburbs. I grew up in one of “those” musical families were everyone sang and or played an instrument which gave me a huge appreciation for music. The first record I ever bought was a 45 of walk this way (Run DMC – Aerosmith version) I picked up my first instrument the trumpet at 11 and then moved to louder, rock and roll staples like the electric guitar and singing. I jammed with friends and played in bands throughout junior high and high school. Buying gear every chance I could with my hard earned pizza making dude money. I dabbled in other programming instruments like synth workstations and drum machines. In my junior year I began a band called Grinch’s Heart; this was my first time writing music and lyrics. We would eventually record our first album at the age of 18. Not long after we graduated members began going in different directions of college or working. I began going to raves in Detroit & The Motor Lounge exposing me to more genres of music. On the look for another band, I came into contact with another great group of guys who called themselves Tribal Traktion, a rock /metal band. I would become the lead singer and writer for the group. We went on to record our music and played hundreds of shows gaining a great following in the Toledo area. The band would eventually split up for various reasons. I then started to work on electronic based music myself, using syths and computer software and collaborating with various musicians. In that time I’ve become a husband to Blue a stepfather to Lauren and a dad to Anthony. I’m currently writing and recording my own music, blending together various styles of music due to love for different genres of music.
