Music, nature, cooking, reading, language, fine wines and imported or micro brewed beers. Overall, my main goal and interest is further educating myself in every way possible.
Beethoven.
Classical: Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Dvorak, Chopin, Bach,Mozart, Scarlatti, Villa Lobos, Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Vivaldi, Liszt, I could go on forever, but those are just a few that I really love.Jazz: Art Tatum, Bud Powell, Chic Corea, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Jobim, Thelonius Monk. Again, just a few of my favorites. There are shitload of other styles and artist whom I enjoy but classical and jazz are my favorites. I have always been exposed to a wide variety of music and I have consequently gained an appreciation for most music. I do not prefer country music, or hip hop (not to be be confused with "rap", which I honestly loathe), but there are several artists in those genres who are very respectable, creative, skilled and talented. As for pop music...in the broadest of terms, I truly make an effort not to subject myself to it.
I watch educational television, the Simpsons, and baseball...that's it. I don't really like movies, except comedies. There is something that bothers me about being in a room with a bunch of unactive people who are mindlessly staring at a tv screen, and who do not want to interact with anyone or anything. Waste of time.
Like I said. Educational television.
I love to read text books. Yes, text books. I love to read anything that allows me to gain more knowledge. Some authors I like are Tolkien, Camus, and Twain, but I mostly read nonfiction. Oh yeah, Howard Zinn.
This dog will eat you.Don't fuck with this foo, he's a predator. My parents of course, who have done everything they ever could to make sure that I have a good life. Dr. Enrique Heredia, an incredible teacher, a true friend, and a worthy mentor. Lois Roberts, my GENIUS, PRODIGY, VIRTUOSA piano instructor. Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Colin Jerwood, British poet, political and animal rights activist, and lead man of Conflict.
