About Me

HelloSeeing as it is half way through 2009, it is probably time for an update on here.We have been practicing every so often this year, John is on drums (Chad is still in the U.S.). Not exactly new to FYH- he used to come down to the odd practice in the 80’s and was apparently asked to join a couple of times (Chad would then have gone down front on full vocals), but sensibly declined. He also came down to the studios for the Missing Sound of Laughter LP recording sessions. There will be another couple of songs rotating on the site soon- Who’s Driving? And Kingdom Is Calling- both originally on the Realm Of The Gods e.p. Both songs were re-done in 2008.The plans are to go live in the Bolton area in September and there is also an Ian Glasper book due out that month which, along with a number of other bands from the period, we did a small contribution for it.There will probably be some kind of release soon (well, soon for us….we are talking 2009 though). We’re trying to capture the ‘live’ sound- a more stripped down, energetic and hopefully good quality version of what you can listen to here.More details on the above (including the book) will probably follow in August, the aim is to try and give people at least a months notice if anything is happening.Chad did make it over for a brief visit earlier on in the year, but we didn’t even have time to stick a microphone in front of him. Hopefully that will be sorted out for the next visit. In the meantime, carry on listening………………………….
