We are foremost a show band. We enjoy the the energy that circulates the room, we enjoy the crowd, we enjoy playing our music, we enjoy shows. If you ever get the chance to come out and see us we would love to see you at a show. We just released our EP "A Breath of Fresh Air" this last summer and our going into recording for our full length CD begginning this next year. Curently we are just trying to get out there and play a lot of shows so if you have a band then send us a message!
A little History...
Oedipus was born to the king an queen of Thebes. When born a soothsayer "prophecy teller" informed the king and queen that Oedipus would grow to kill his father and lay with his mother. After hearing this the king had one of his most trustworthy shepherds take his son and have him killed in the mountains. Once in the mountains the Shepherd could not kill the boy so he gave him to another shepherd from the city of Corinth. This shepherd took him to the king and queen of Corinth to be raised under them. Oedipus grew up believing he was the heir to the throne of Corinth. On his 18th birthday though, a drunk told him about his fate and how he would kill his father and lay with his mother. Loving the king and queen of Corinth and believing that they were his true parents he ran away from the city so he would not fulfill this prophecy. He set way to the city of Thebes. On his way though, he got in a fight with a carriage full of guards and one well dressed man. He killed them all, not knowing that the well dressed man was the king of Thebes, his father. Upon reaching Thebes he heard that they were in need of a new king. Being the royalty that he was he decided to be their new king and married their queen, his mother.
