I am music student in Viljandi Culture Academy in Estonia. I started playing saxophone in the age of 12 and till 2005 I mostly played in the orchestras. Estonian traditional music I discovered while having played few years scottish highland bagpipes in my hometown Tallinn. Through playing this instrument I met with Estonian traditional music players who introduced me this music. So after graduating highschool I found myself already in Viljandi. I continued on saxophone in traditional department and also started learning Estonian bagpipes, willow flute and jaw..s harp. Besides studying folkmusic I got interested in improvising music...
