After being inspired by her surroundings, it was time to move on out and start singing. She started attending jamsessions , open mics...basically grasping every opportunity to sing.
It was at one of those jams she made contact with producer/songwriter Tjeerd Oosterhuis. She joins the Band Total Touch which went on to reach
triple platinum status. Total Touch tours worlwide with Jasmin as one of the original backings.
The co-operation between Jasmin and lead singer Trijntje Oosterhuis ( Total Touch ) was so fullfilling, that they are still working together on Trijntje’s solo career.
Musicians and solo singers such as Leon Ware, Sandra St. Victor, Jhelisa, ’N Dambi and Dox Orchestra have enlisted her services as backing vocalist. With her stunnning vocal capabilities, Jasmin has become the ’must have’ voice for visiting artists, she holds down the main spot in a returning project called Daughters Of Soul. A project initiated by Sandra St. Victor, with Lalah Hathaway, Indira Khan, Simone, Nona Hendryx and Joyce Kennedy.
Her talent is not limited to backings, though. Over the years she has been enlisted by several musicians for songwriting and vocal abilities. To name a few, The Flowriders and DJ Real El Canario. Nowadays she works together with Liquid Spirits for their second album.
