UK/ BD drumming sensation FAISAL is no stranger to the stage or to bengali people.
Having been part of chittagong based band DEW DROPS, faisal has toured bangladesh extensively focusing his drumming skills from genres such as heavy metal to drum and bass.
To further his academic undergraduate studies, Faisal made his move to the uk, where he extended his portfolio to playing with rock music to folk, alternative and fusion.
As a regular figure in british bangladeshi music circuit, Faisal has gigged across the UK and Europe, accompanying deshi greats from HABIB to BABY NAZNIN as well as uk based stars such as KAYA of 'krishno fame' and uk asian underground artist Suzana Ansar (State of Bengal, CLottaireK, Khansar).
In 2006 Faisal played the Boyshakhi Mela, the largest south asian mela held in europe, attended by in excess of half a million people and viewed live on tv across 30 countries globally.
Faisal has acheived celebrity status by being a tv regular in programmes such as Gane Gane Khela, London Express on Uk Based Bengali channels S and Bangla TV.
