doesn't it figure? Yeah, it adds up.

About Me

"A DJ lost in his own ego is never gonna connect with a crowd - a DJ who has no problem with fucking up and being real with the moment will always win over a crowd - I know this pisses the perfectionists off - but it is true. A DJ has to spin with his eyes as much as he does with his ears - he has to be able to look at his dancefloor and see what is happening and react in the moment - you can't pre-plan that - you can't rehearse that - you just have to connect - and sometimes that means taking BIG chances - they don't always work out, but when they do . . . "
- Jim Cyr (Illuminaughty)
I simply love house music. In all forms, really. I love the house vibe and the undeniable 'sway' of a san francisco house vibed dancefloor. I love breaksbeats and dirty heavy bass. I love disco. I love it when its all fused together without seams. I love people and dancing. I love to give everything my all. I've played a few parties, thrown a few parties, traveled a few places and met the greatest people!

Best part for me is that I've been lucky enough to play alongside most of these party rawkers.

I also love classic 70's rock..

Zeppelin
Rush
Doors
Hendrix
Satriani
Pink Floyd
Fleetwood Mac
Kansas
etc...

and I was big into 'modern rock' in the 80's & 90's...

Depeche Mode
Erasure
Cure
Echo
OMD
Smiths
etc...

I started listening to that "Techno Rave" music in 1992 and it's all vinyl and plastic dreams from there. Special Thanks to Steve Masters and 'Live 105' for introducing "Sons of a Loop de Loop Era" "Yo Yo Get Funky" and "Rockin' Down the House" to me on the 'underground' radio station. Also, Jim Hopkins from Twitch Records, his doublepack remixes were a staple in my early record collecting life...

Life is not measured by the amount of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have b...
