PATHFINDER

ENGLISH:PATHFINDER is a quite recent Thrash Metal band that started kickin.. & thrashin.. some asses in late 2004 in Burgos, an Spanish northern town. Two of PATHFINDER original members are still in the band, Dani Ortega (Lead guitars & vocals) and Alberto Arribas (bass), the rest of the guys joined along the years. Todays line up is:Raúl Puente (Vocals) Dani Ortega (Guitars & Vocals) Alberto Arribas (Bass) Simón Cordero (Drums)PATHFINDER started as a parallel project of some of the members, and it still continues with that spirit of friendship and playing Thrash Metal; the kind of music it likes to you !! Raúl also plays guitar and vocals in Mistweaver, Undead Family and other proyects. Simón plays drums in Mistweaver, Icarian and Ilur. Dani also plays bass with Simón in Icarian and sometimes takes parts of any kind of musical projects.PATHFINDER released a couple of demos named "Semper Fidelis" & "Target: Hell"; both of them are self produced and the band is looking for signing with some company to release a third Cd which the band is working on it; the new stuff will be named "The Great War" and will be recorded next June 2009. Sus miembros fundadores decidieron crear PATHFINDER al poco de dejar Belyerath la antigua formación de éstos; Dani (previamente en Mistweaver, Belyerath, Unicornia, Antecessor, etc.), Alberto ( Encoder y Belyerath ) y Roberto (Belyerath).Todos los componentes de PATHFINDER tienen gran experiencia musical, tanto en actuaciones en directo como en composición de temas y letras. El sonido del grupo es muy directo y compacto debido a la rotundidad de la base rítmica y la agresividad de los ritmos de guitarras. Las influencias del grupo son muy diversas, desde el Thrash, Death, Power, etc. El sonido de PATHFINDER se puede enmarcar entre el Thrash y el Metal melódico.El grupo graba una demo - SEMPER FIDELIS - totalmente autoproducida por el grupo a finales de 2004 y comienzos de 2005 que consta de cinco temas, la grabación fue llevada a cabo en el estudio de Raúl (Mistweaver / Undead Family) y Mario (Undead Family).El grupo ha terminado la grabación de su nuevo Cd "TARGET: HELL". En esta ocasión los temas cuentan con mucha más agresividad, técnica y más partes melódicas. El Cd está disponible desde principios de Noviembre.En este CD, Raúl ha entrado a hacerse cargo de la parte vocal de PATHFINDER, conocido en la escena burgalesa ya que también forma parte de Mistweaver y Undead Family entre otros grupos.El 1 de Junio de este año, comienza la grabación del próximo Cd de PATHFINDER titulado "The Great War", una obra conceptual acerca de la Primera Guerra Mundial, con temática totalmente historica y en la parte musical contará con mucha más agresividad de la mostrada hasta ahora.La formación actual de PATHFINDER es: Raúl Puente (Voz) Dani Ortega (Guitarras y Voz) Alberto Arribas (Bajo) Simón Cordero (Batería)+ Info en: www.pathfinderstrikes.com
