Cast Irony is an alternative rock band based outside of Toledo, Ohio. Cast Irony was formed in 2005 by brothers Jacob and Adam Horn. They were tired of all the artsy pretentiousness of sell-out bands that were adored by critics who failed to realize that they offer nothing real, and set out to make straight-up rock. They enlisted longtime friend Joey Shinsky on drums.
All of the members of Cast Irony bring something different and unique to the band, and all contribute as lyricists and musicians. All of them feed off of each other to create music that can inspire emotion, whether it be hope, acceptance, or laughter. Their sound incorporates sounds from any and all sub-genres of rock to create an overall sound that defies the narrow classifications deemed necessary in today's music.
Cast Irony has released their debut EP "Parallel Fifths" and has sold out it's initial shipment! Not to worry, copies are available at Culture Clash records in Toledo, as well as at each live show.
