* I found the biggest truths about Krsna Consciousness through many, many small lies, piss-poor devotees and even some huge-assed lame-o excuses by brahmins.
* I do not understand why ANYone would follow any religion that denigrates women or minorities to the point of supporting, (if not fomenting) slavery, genocide (Inquisition) and a lack of true equality.
* I do not believe in Satan yet believe that as Satan is a "christian" invention therefore for one to be a Satanist means that they are essentially a 'christian'.
* I also do NOT believe in atheists (ism): One has to acknowledge that which they purport to be against in order to be against it, ergo, if you choose to NOT believe in god you have already acknowledged god's existence.
* I DO believe that 98.999% of politicians are completely full of themselves and thereby full of shit.
* NOT ONE Nation, Religion, Culture or President should kill another person or persons under the guise of God being on 'their' side - EVER!
* I find it stupid to pay huge sums of money to near drop-outs to play a 'game' (i.e., ANY game be it football, basketball, etc.) If they want to pay them, make it enough above minimum wage so they can buy a burger every now and then and stop letting all this money go to their heads so that they think that they are role-models. Most have no other talents and produce nothing of benefit to society.
* If there are people, religious-types or not, that believe that Katrina was God's punishment to New Orleans for gays and gay activity, then tell me how that compares to the Bible Belt always getting hit with tornados?
I don't vote and don't believe in it (at a national level). Even though Al Gore wanted to try and convince us that his loss was an example of every vote counting I disagree. The electoral college is a prime example of everyone's vote NOT counting. Let's face it, politicians only need to win several states to become president because small states just don't carry that much electoral college weight - so how does that make a vote 'count'? And don't tell me that I can't bitch if I don't vote. I just did.
(*Presidential Elections)
The President of the United States is elected by the Electoral College and not directly by the population. Each state is assigned electoral votes based on the number of senators and representatives that state has in Congress. Each state has two Senators. The number of representatives is determined by the states population but is never less then 1. Thus small states with a small population are overly represented in the Electoral College. One candidate wins all of the electoral votes in a state.
