MY TWO CENTS
The deaths this week of Michael Jackson, Billy Mays, and Steve McNair brings into focus the need to have a little foresight. Is 50 too young to be thinking about how do I provide for my family in the event of my demise? Is 40 too young? Steve McNair was 36.

The onus is usually on men to do this for their family. The women generally run the household, so it should be something both partners take care of.

Some may feel eerie discussing a will. They may believe it foreshadows their demise. If you can’t or won’t take the steps of creating (or updating) a will, then a least have a conversation about the future
