What I am thinking is, 2009 will be a great year.
New year, new goals, new president and hopefully some new and exciting things for me personally and the world. Maybe even opening up to having a special someone in my life. Did I just say that??? ha ha ha...Trying to end my year right on a good note, so that I have a SMOOTH transition into the new year.
I am so proud of myself, I have come a longgggggg way. There are still some things that I should work on, but am giving myself time.... But in the meantime, in reflection of THE REAL MS. FRANCESCA. THIS IS ME.
A human being, a strong woman, who respects herself. A child of God. A woman who enhances her mind, nourishes her body and enriches her soul. A mother of 3 handsome young men. A daughter, a sister to many, an aunt, a grandaughter, a niece, a cousin to many, an independent woman, an ex-girlfriend, an ex-wife, a smart cookie, a shopper, a free-spirit, a little shy, a lot outgoing, a comedian, a role model to some, a teacher, a writer, a dancer, an innovator, a unique individual, but best of all a person who loves herself and knows who she is.
Thanks to my family and closest friends who always look out for me. Love you guys. C Ya. :)
"Feelin great because the light's on me
Celebrating the things that everyone told me
Would never happen
but God has put his hands on me
And aint a man alive could ever take it from me
Working with what I got I gotta keep on
Taking care of myself I wanna live long
Aint never ashamed what life did to me
Wasn't afraid to change cause it was good for me"

INFO I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE
The blood of Horseshoe Crabs is tested to evaluate the purity of pharmaceuticals. The researchers basically CATCH THEM, draw their blood, which contains a clotting effect that is needed for testing drugs that humans either use or will use in the future. Once the blood is extracted, they are put back into the ocean. No care for them, just put BACK IN THE OCEAN!!!! :(
Their blood count can take from one week, to several months before it is back to normal. These crabs can be worth close to $3,000.00 over their lifetime. Once again, respect our animals because they do so much for us and ENDURE WAY TOO MUCH and sometimes no one knows about it.
