** HEY YA'LL JUST ADDED THAT "MYSPACE MUSIC STORE" SUPPORT YA BOY!!! **
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio my whole life. My childhood was spent on the northside of the city near Morse rd. and Westerville rd. until the age of six. At that point in time my family moved down to the southside right off of S. High st. where I spent the remainder of my adolescent life. When I turned 19 my parents decided to kick me me out of the house because of conflicting views, saying ' I was to much trouble '. So I moved in with my sister on the westside off of Sullivant ave. About six months later I got a place of my own right back on the northside where I currently reside.
I first got my taste of music as a child when my mother made me play the piano. I enjoyed it very much and learned kid songs such as: 'Old McDonald' , 'Twinkle Twinkle' , and 'Santa Clause'. But after a few years I found myself loosing interest. I then started to play the recorder, and learned how to play many of the same songs on that. But again I was loosing interest in it also. From then on I have always wanted to learn new things, and use new instruments.
I have always been intrigued by music and it has played a huge part in my life. Since I was a young boy growing up I have listened to rap music. Whether I heard it on 107.5 or watched it on BET I've always loved the sound, and liked the word play in the lyrics. Bass and drums are music to my ears.
Music has influenced me throughout my entire life. I would turn on the radio or throw on a cd to set the mood for a party. When I was angry I'd flip on some rap to help me vibe and vent my anger. Any emotion that you've ever felt can be captured and harnessed in a song to help the listener relate.
Music touches people in many different ways. I use music to help me express myself in a positive way. I enjoy making beats and adding melodies so the music has a good sound. I would also like to consider myself as a lyricalist. I take much time and thought in writting my lyrics so everyone can relate to what I'm saying.
So whether you listen to music for a good time, or it helps you vent, or you listen because it helps you cope with life and get through hard times, or you listen just because it's easy on your ears .... music has a place in the heart of everyone! Where would we be today without music?
