I'm an open minded guy who knows there's a difference between knowledge and wisdom, and no matter how educated one gets there are still daily opportunities to learn from others. It never ceases to amaze me what I can learn from a certain toddler these days! I enjoy learning new points of view and expanding my perspective, but that doesn't include prejudices, delusions, conspiracy theories, or close-minded religious banter.
I'm a strong supporter of the separation of church and state, so if you like statues of the ten commandments in public parks or at court houses, we won't see eye to eye. I also think religion is the foundation of a lot of societal issues including prejudice, hate mongering, poverty, and many wars, and I won't censor my views so I won't offend you - you've been warned. I'm also tickled by poking fun at religion and this will often come out in comments I send to my Myspace friends and through views I express in bulletins and emails.
